The typical albuterol dosage for adults is two inhalations by mouth every 4 to 6 hours as needed

Prime VENTOLIN HFA before using for the first time, when the inhaler has not been used for more than 2 weeks, or when the inhaler has been dropped
It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol
The counter will turn red when there are only 20 doses left, to remind you to refill your prescription
Patients should be informed that VENTOLIN HFA has a dose counter that starts at 204 or 64 and counts down each time a spray is released
